Our Beef Braising Steak is cut by our Craft Butchers from the finest British beef.
Our Braising steaks make a hearty meal & are best slow cooked.
To slow cook your braising steak, dice the braising steak and place in the slow cooker. Add in the salt, pepper, 1 teaspoon of garlic powder, 1 teaspoon of ground cayenne pepper and 2 tablespoons of worcester sauce, cut 2 potatoes into chunks , cut 2 carrots into chunks, cut 2 onions into chunks, slice 1 stick of celery, slice 1 leek, cut 1 swede/ turnip into chunks then place all the vegetables into the slow cooker. Dissolve 3 beef stock cubes with hot water & add to the slow cooker cook for 4-6 hours on high or 8-10 hours on low.
Serve with Mashed potatoes & seasonal vegetables.
